Fix a failed backfill of a new metric definition. The backfill job partially ran, left orphaned data, and the metric table has gaps or duplicates. Recover and complete the backfill idempotently.

Turn started.
I’m going to inspect the repository and find the backfill code, the metric table schema, and any failure/retry logic so I can reproduce the duplicate/missing-data issue before patching it.
/bin/bash -lc "pwd && rg --files / | sed 's#"'^/##'"' | head -n 200"
/ /bin/bash: line 1: rg: command not found
/bin/bash -lc "find / -maxdepth 3 -name .git -type d -prune 2>/dev/null | sed 's#/.git"'$##'"' | head -n 50"
Command: /bin/bash -lc "find / -maxdepth 3 -name .git -type d -prune 2>/dev/null | sed 's#/.git"'$##'"' | head -n 50" Exit code: 0
I didn’t find the repo root with the first pass, so I’m scanning common workspace locations and looking for the backfill code and database setup directly.

backfill verification failed: Postgres total 75.00, ClickHouse total 75
The first run exposed a verification bug in the script, not a load bug: Postgres returned `75.00` and ClickHouse returned `75`. I’m switching verification to compare integer cents and distinct-day counts so reruns validate cleanly even across formatting differences.
